Over the past twenty years Dr. Rashkov has been frequently appearing in concert series and music productions throughout Europe, the Middle East and the USA. He has performed in over 20 countries on three continents.
Among Rashkov's teachers and major influences are world renowned names like German pedagogue Karl-Heinz Kaemmerling, as well as Polish pianist Andrjey Yaszinsky and Canadian prof. Kevin Fitz-Gerald. Rashkov had the immense luck to draw inspiration from American piano legend, the late Earl Wilde.
Native of Bulgaria and based in Dubai, Dr. Rashkov has earned his Master's degree in piano performance at the University of the Arts “Mozarteum” in Salzburg, Austria with Prof. Karl-Heinz Kaemmerling and Doctor of Musical Arts at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, California, under the tutelage of prof. Kevin Fitz-Gerald.
Dr.Rashkov is a prize winner of numerous merit awards for his achievements in performance - Frank and Dunphy Kerze award (Los Angeles), LMC Seattle, The Career Development Grand (Los Angeles); Annual award of the president of University “Mozarteum” (Salzburg, Austria), LMC(Seattle, USA), Annual award of the Rotary Club for achievement in the arts(Vienna, Austria) among others.
Dr.Rashkov is a frequent guest at prestigious music festivals in Augsburg(Germany), Hugo Wolf and Summer Festival in Austria, Lint(Slovenia), Lago di Garda (Italy) San Diego Concert Series, Manhattan Concert series, Beverly Hills series, Music under the Stars (Dubai, UAE), Pollen concerts, Abu Dhabi (UAE), as well as Al Ain Music Festival (UAE).
His performances have been recorded by Platinum List Dubai, Dubai One, the Austrian Television (ORF), ZDF-Germany, RAI-Italy, Bulgarian and Slovenian National televisions, PBS – USA and the largest non-profit radio station for classical music in America-KUSC.
As a soloist and chamber musician Dr. Rashkov has collaborated with members of the Los Angeles philharmonic, New York City Opera, Nuernberg Symphony, Stuttgart Symphony, Hoffer Symphony, Austrian Youth Symphony orchestra, Vienna Volks Opera, Innsbruck State heater, Salzburg State Theatre, Dubai Chamber Orchestra, National Symphony Orchestra of the UAE, USC Symphony and Burbank Symphony among others.
Dr.Rashkov performed and collaborated in numerous Hollywood productions, most notably in the movie "Ivory" with Golden Globe and Academy Award winning artist MartinLandau. Some of his latest projects include a cd recording with American mezzosoprano Charlene Chi at the prestigious Fazioli concert hall in Sacile-Venice in Italy, followed by promotional tour. In the period2016-2022 Dr. Rashkov frequently returned to Italy for chamber music recitals in Trieste and Venice, followed by performances in Austria and Slovenia, as well as Dubai opera. Future performances include invitations from Dubai opera Spring Festival and a master class at Yonsei University in Seoul, Korea, Euro music Festival and performances in Wuhan and Shanghai, China in 2025.
His passion for teaching and supporting the young generation of musicians led to numerous master classes throughout the USA and the Middle East. Over the past 20 years his students have celebrated triumphs at various competitions and festivals around the world, almost 200 prizes in total. Among them emerged prize-winners from various competitions in the USA, Mexico, UK, Germany, Austria, Italy, Japan, Korea, Honk Kong, Singapoor and the Middle East
